Yoga Parv is being organized at Mangalayatan University, Aligarh on the occasion of International Yoga Day. The program will formally end on June 21. Inauguration of Yoga Parv Vice Chancellor Prof. PK Dashora, Vice Chancellor Prof. Siddi Veeresham, Prof. Jayantilal Jain, Prof. Rajiv Sharma, Prof. Kumudni Pawar lit the lamp and offered flowers in front of Adiyogi Lord Shiva. The audience was enthralled by the various musical postures of yoga presented by the students. The students demonstrated the need for Yoga through the presentation of Shiv Tandav, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga etc. NSS, MUSC, and Radio Narada cooperated in the event.
Chief Guest Vice Chancellor Prof. PK Dashora said that Yoga means to join. Yoga is the medium to connect the self with the self. This ancient culture of our country has now spread all over the world. The practice of yoga should be reflected in every action of a person. Maharishi Patanjali has given eight sutras of yoga. Yoga is to control the instincts of your mind. Yoga is to achieve skill in what we do in our work. Bringing Yama in life and walking with the rules, the path becomes easy. Students should get skills in their work, this is the way of yoga. If we want to get happiness and joy, then we have to keep our life restrained and work carefully. The Vice-Chancellor said that every work of life should be yogic.
